Tamil youth awards seek nominations
Canada News: "Young Canadian Tamils need the inspiration successful peers give them, a group boosting Tamil youth says.



Each year, the Awards of Excellence program helps young members of a community that faces stereotypes, language barriers and a cultural gap between generations, officials of the Canadian Tamil Youth Development Centre (CanTYD) said this week.



Every community has its good and not-so-good members, Archana Balamohan, CanTYD awards co-ordinator told a recent press conference at the Ontario Science Centre, where this year's honours will be presented in October."
